Client Brief
The art’otel situated in Hoxton has 27-floors and features 343 guest rooms and suites, as well as five floors of office space. The top storeys offer a lounge, bar, gym and restaurant with views of the London skyline. Meanwhile, the lower ground levels feature a gallery space that will play host to a rotating calendar of exhibitions, as well as cultural and artistic events.

Solution
The crane was installed on a steel grillage base and was free standing at 60.0m. LTC then tied into the building and arrived at the height of 78.0m with use of a mobile to assist. LTC then erected a crane on the core and removed the free standing crane and finally dismantled the crane from the core over a weekend.
