Client Brief
The client’s 2.5 acre (1.0 hectares, 4094.3m3) site is highly constrained, the waters of the Albert Dock Basin on one side, the Ocean Terminal shopping and leisure centre on another, and Ocean Drive tramway, a heavily used local transport link to Ocean Terminal, and the former Royal Yacht Britannia now an important tourist attraction. These constraints require significant stakeholder liaison, both with the client, Transport for Edinburgh and Edinburgh Trams Limited.

Solution
The tramline and river wall avoided using correct planning with client and collaboration with the tram operator.
We were able to support delivery of the development using our in-house CAD department and experienced operations team to devise a least disruption solution.
